Lituanica is home to the Lituanica Basketball Academy (LBA). Since 1995 we have been teaching the game of basketball to athletes of all ages. Our goal is to prepare our student athletes for competitive basketball at all levels.
The Lituanica Basketball Academy (LBA) participated in the Keepataw Classic Basketball Tournament 2011 hosted by Lemont High School. The tournament was held 11/18/11-11/20/11. LBA was represented by 4th, 5th, two 6th, and 7th grade teams. Although the teams didn’t advance to the finals, they played quite well and showed promising results.
We hope that our teams will continue to improve and that the Winter season will be very successful for all of them!
Our Fall basketball session will be held 08/29/11 - 11/27/11. High School Boys 08/29/11 - 11/06/11
Tryouts 08/29/11 - 09/01/11 (4th Grade Tryouts Monday 08/15 6:00pm-7:30pm) No practices on 09/23 & 10/07 & 10/21- Youth Hall No practices on 09/23 - Foundation Hall (Small Gym) (LWC members must have a current membership card in order to get 10% discount)
